Two for Two! Cubs Skipper Named NL Manager of the Year!

In a highly contested vote, Chicago Cubs skipper Joe Maddon is the 2015 NL Manager of the Year.

Maddon earned 18 first place votes, to Mike Matheny’s nine.

Maddon brought the Cubs a personality, and that personality lifted the Cubs up to a 24-game improvement over the team’s 2014 record. The Cubs 97 wins and their NLCS appearance was certainly a breath of fresh air for Cubs fans, but cemented Maddon as one of the best manager’s in the game of baseball today.

Congrats Joe!
