That Broncos defense that carried the team to a Super Bowl in Peyton Manning’s final season is going to start losing some people…and one of those is going to be coming to Chicago (per rumors) – linebacker Danny Trevathan.
The Bears have been missing a decent middle linebacker presence since Urlacher left in 2012. This could be the cornerstone in a defense that made big strides under John Fox in his first season as the Bears coach.

Trevathan is known around the league as at least a top-10 ILB, hovering around the top-five area.
In 15 games last season, Trevathan recorded 73 tackles. He had 105 tackles and two sacks in 2013 before only playing three games and getting injured in 2014.
Fox took Trevathan in the sixth round back in 2012, and he’s definitely outplayed his draft status.
It’s looking like it’s going to be a four year deal.
Sounds like #Bears are offering a 4-year deal to linebacker Danny Trevathan.

If this is true, the soon-to-be-26 year old will hit free agency again before he turns 30.
