Another day, another group St Louis Cardinal fans complaining. It seems like anytime there’s any sort of baseball news, Cardinals fans are up in arms over it. I’m not sure if they are just an angry “get off my lawn” bunch, or if they are a group of whiners? I’m leaning towards whiners at this point.
So why are the Cardinals fans mad at David Ross?
David Ross elevated to ESPN’s No. 1 team for Sunday’s Cubs-Cardinals at Wrigley
Yes, that’s why. Because David Ross will be in the top crew for the Cubs-Cardinals game. Yes, I’m being serious.
Before we show some of the outrage I have to say – it makes sense for ESPN to do this. In fact, with all of the layoffs and firings in Bristol, this might be the smartest decision they’ve made in a long while. With Ross on their game broadcast staff, why wouldn’t they they use him during that game? He just won a championship for the Cubs. He is a social and national story because of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ so wouldn’t it make perfect sense to put him on that game?
