Dexter Fowler’s back with the Chicago Cubs for the 2016 season.
I repeat: Dexter Fowler’s back with the Chicago Cubs.
After we all thought this:
Sources: The Orioles have agreed to terms with Dexter Fowler on a three-year deal for about $35 million.

Theo done pulled a Theo:
Look who's back?! @DexterFowler is a #Cub again! pic.twitter.com/yqG8Z6PYXm

Even I fell victim to it:
Cubs acquire Aaron Brooks for Coghlan. Brooks, 25, has started 10 game in the big leagues, career 8.38 ERA in 15 games overall

What did the Cubs just do

You know what, guys? It happens. I don’t remember something like this happening ever in my time knowing what baseball is.
It’s going to be sad to see Coghlan gone, but Dex being back makes me ecstatic. Heyward moves to right, Schwarber/Soler in left? Hot bat? Games in AL parks will be amazing with Schwarbs DH’ing and those three out in the field.
A little over a month ago I wrote about how Coghlan has really been an underrated and valuable asset to the Cubs in the seasons he has spent on the North Side. But, when you think about it we just traded him for Dex and this pitcher named Aaron Brooks. I’ll take it.
I’m just so excited right now. Although I do feel a tad sorry for Michael at BleacherNation:
After the Coghlan news, but before the Fowler news, I wrote about new Cubs pitcher Aaron Brooks – now, I don't think anyone will care. Wow.

But, now I’m sure he’s fine with it…as am I.
Again, Fowler’s back!
