The weekend series between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals was devastating for the Southside Hitmen. While it is still early, the Royals completely dismantled the White Sox’s bullpen, coming back in each of the three games. It is hard to pick which game hurts more, the game you had a three run lead, six run lead, or two run lead, or the fact that you (White Sox) could have built a nice lead in a statement series against the Royals.
The White Sox failed to do so, and the defending World Series champs showed Robin Ventura and the White Sox how a championship caliber team steps on a team’s neck. What could possibly hurt even more is, the White Sox had both Chris Sale and Jose Quintana pitching, and they wasted both of their starts.
Not to rub salt in any wounds, but it’s bad enough that Royals fans (you know, the ones that just witnessed a World Series title after being there two consecutive seasons) started making fun of the White Sox.
I don't know how, but #HEYHEYHEY suck it, White Sox!!! pic.twitter.com/7HaoiqloOd

Not to mention the actual Royals account tweeting this (them quickly removing it).
But then Kansas City Star thought it was necessary to highlight the suffering White Sox fans went through this past Memorial Day weekend.
Pete Grathoff, author of fantasic pieces such as – Here are the uniforms the Royals will wear, or Did George Brett dump or pump Donald Trump – seemed to scour Twitter in search of White Sox fans who were at their lowest. I suggest White Sox fans go to this Twitter post and blow Petey up.
We see you @pgrathoff
