The Chicago Bears have a ton of money to spend in free agency this offseason, and have already done a lot to improve their team up the middle with the signings of Danny Trevathan and Jerrell Freeman. Now Bears offensive lineman, Kyle Long is recruiting hard for another solidifying piece on the defensive side of the ball.
I’ve played against @The_Dream99 two times and I don’t want to play against him again. How does that happen??

And he kept on…
I would love to see pernell McPhee and @The_Dream99 beating heads on that defensive line!

While Kyle is quick to mention that he doesn’t have a role in recruiting, he is certainly looking to help bridge any gaps that might be out there.
I’m gonna put Akiem Hicks Twitter handle right here: @The_Dream99 …… @ChicagoBears fans… You know what to do…

Kyle knows his place in the organization, and he certainly isn’t trying to jump rank, but he knows (as Bears fans and management knows) this is an offseason to really try and right the Bears ship.
I think I’ll be okay. I just want another Lombardi trophy at Halas Hall https://t.co/L4CoDT9s4H

Akeim Hicks is a strong defensive tackle that has a history of playing winning football with both the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots. Coincidentally GM Ryan Pace has a history with Hicks, both being in New Orleans together, and a player with a winning pedigree is certainly something that this Chicago Bears team could benefit from. With Jarvis Jenkins signing with the New York Jets, there could certainly be room on this roster for Hicks.
Let’s just hope this works out.
