It has been a very tough season for Kyle Schwarber, but after a great performance in Saturday’s game, he’s closer than ever to a comeback.
Kyle, who struggled a bit in his first few games in Iowa, turned things around by blasting 4 HR in two days. While his power was never truly in question, her also raised his average to .391 in his short stint on he farm.
2 days, 4 home runs.

With improved play, some are beginning to wonder when he will be called back up to the show. Ryan Davis, of FanRag Sports, Sporting News, and several other publications over the years, has heard some good news for fans owning number 12 Cubs jerseys.
FWIW: I've heard that Schwarber will be back with the Cubs when they return to Chicago Tuesday.

We are also seeing that the Cubs Senior VP of Scouting and Development, Jason McLeod, will be at tonight’s Iowa Cubs game.

Maybe he will be there to just get a sense of things, or maybe he’s there to give the final thumbs up. If this is true, plan for more than illegally bought Indiana fireworks on Tuesday.
What do you think? Will Schwarber be back? Is it too soon? Would you like him back now, or maybe after the All Star break? Let us know.
