NFL Players Destroy Jay Cutler

It was another poor performance by the Chicago Bears offense. While it is easy to pin everything on the quarterback, Jay Cutler isn’t the only reason things aren’t clicking. The biggest culprit is the Bears offensive line, which was patched together in the final days of preseason.

The offensive line has allowed Cutler to be sacked eight times in two games, and has yet to establish the running game to take some pressure off the Bears QB. He is fleeing for his life on every snap, and it’s no wonder Cutler needed to leave the game early due to an apparent thumb injury. On the Jay Cutler interception, it’s my interpretation that he just saw blue and was throwing the ball mostly to avoid getting hit, yet again, and didn’t survey the field to notice a wandering linebacker.

But that didn’t stop Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu from taking to Twitter to blast the Chicago QB. Here is the since deleted tweet.

To add insult to injury, Cutler’s own teammate was seen berating him on the sideline after his errant throw that was picked off by Philadelphia’s Nigel Bradham. Injured Bear, Pernell McPhee was caught on camera screaming at Jay after the throw. Certainly Pernell is frustrated he cannot help the team while on the PUP list, and is sick of watching poor play on the field while standing in street clothes on the sideline.

It seems it has already started, the dump Cutler conversations will rule the radio airways and social media posts. Perhaps Jay shouldnt be given the benefit of the doubt in year eight of his Bears career, and year 11 of his NFL career. I just dont know how you pin everything on a guy that spends most of the game on his ass.
