So last week Fortune magazine voted the Chicago Cubs president of baseball operations, Theo Epstein, the world’s greatest leader. This, while surprising, certainly isn’t a stretch. Theo is responsible for ending an 86 year drought in Boston, and ended the 108 year streak in Chicago.
While the award is certainly an honor, Theo was self-deprecating when speaking about the honor. Which you almost would have to, right? I mean this is a huge accomplishment which you can’t really expect.
Well in keeping the Cubs playful environment, cubs owner, Tom Ricketts, spoke up on this honor.
Ricketts on Theo being named "World's Greatest Leader" by Fortune: "I told him I voted for Kim Jong-un, but I'm glad that he won."
