Adrian Peterson Not Waiting till Sunday to Rip Bears Defense

These are the games that Adrian Peterson lives for, those two games against the Chicago Bears. Over his career Peterson has torched the Chicago Bears defense to the tune of 1,396 yards in 12 games, and his 14 TDs are far and away the most against any opponent.

Basically, if you are looking for a Fanduel runningback this weekend, is safe to say he’s good for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Even more depressing for Bears fans, Adrian Peterson doesn’t respect the current defense at all. During the weekly call with reporters, Adrian was asked if he was intimidated by the Bears defense, his reply… “Nope.”

Plain and simple, he wasn’t afraid of the Bears defense when Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, and Charles Tillman were in their prime, why would he be intimidated when the Bears cut their best defensive player just a week ago?

Peterson did have some good things to say about the Bears though.

Nice to see he is at least giving sine respect, but when you would pull 1,861 yards a season if he only played against the Bears why should he be intimidated?

Maybe the only hope for the Bears defense is if Peterson misses the game Sunday, which could happen. Peterson showed up on the injury list add he missed practice citing finger, hip, and ankle injuries — along with perhaps a stomach still feeling the effects from shrimp-gate — per Pro Football Talk? Maybe hold of till gameday before seeing your Fanduel roster.
