At What Point Do You Include Schwarber in the Rookie of the Year Conversation

He has done it again and seemingly again. Chicago Cubs rookie Kyle Schwarber homered, twice in the Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers. We all knew this kid was uber talented, but to come in and just mash from the get go without showing signs of slowing down good?

Let the record show, Kyle is hitting a cool .324 with 8 homers and 24 RBIs. What is difficult is the man playing third for the Cubs is currently the front runner for the award, and sever other rookies have put in full seasons of very impressive play.

So how could one look to Schwarber instead of a Joc Pederson or Kris Bryant?

It would be extremely tough to, but if he continues to assault the MLB like he does here he’ll barge his way into that conversation.

Dang this dude is talented.
