The Chicago Bears won a huge game on Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. Some of the questions on Mitch Trubisky might have started to be answered. But among what was a feel good Thursday, the Bears defense and playoff chances might have taken a big hit.

Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) Tweeted: #Bears star LB Roquan Smith is feared to have torn his pec in last night’s win over the #Cowboys, sources say. If the MRI confirms, it would likely knock Smith, who has really impressed recently, out for the season.

With the Bears playing better and fighting for their playoff lives, the best defensive player over the past four games is about to be lost.

On the bright-side, Akiem Hicks is scheduled to make his return against the Green Bay Packers next Sunday.
