Bears Trade Interest: Stud Linebacker Compared to DeMarcus Ware
The Chicago Bears are in a rebuild mode, so adding a player via a trade — especially one that would most certainly involve a draft pick — is a very difficult idea to fathom. For one, NFL trading tends to be something that is talked about more than it actually happens. Then it is even harder to believe that a team would be willing to part with draft picks that could be used to add desirable depth. But could the Bears trade a pick for a player that could help them for years to come?
That said, the Bears could actually benefit greatly if they decided to make a run at a certain Cleveland Browns linebacker before the November 3rd deadline.

If you take a look at Barkevious Mingo‘s career numbers one might not be overly impressed, but here is what Pro Football Talk has said about Mingo.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Mingo is a talented pass rusher who hasn’t always looked like a great fit for what the Browns want to do on defense. Cleveland took him with the sixth overall pick in the 2013 draft, and he has just seven career sacks — none this year.
He is talented, and although he hasn’t reached the quarterback in 2015, that could be explained away with his offseason arthroscopic procedure on his knee in August. In fact, Mingo was a very impressive talent coming out of LSU, and was selected 6th overall by the Browns. Â Here is NFL.com’s scouting report on the talented pass rusher.
He was described as a boom or bust type of linebacker, and with the Browns drafting Nate Orchard last season, the writing was on the wall for Mingo to deliver on his talents. He hasn’t, and with the Browns announcing a fire sale to the league, Mingo’s name is high on the list of players to be shipped out.
With Mingo’s lack of production in his first three NFL seasons, the Bears wouldn’t have to give up a ton to acquire him by Tuesday. If the Bears were to part with a fourth round pick, there is a chance that the Browns would bite, and the Bears could have several very interesting linebackers for Vic Fangio to mold.
