Nagy has gotten a lot of attention, and as it was rumored, he made a connection with Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky and even stayed in contact with Trubisky throughout the season.
“Nagy loved Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft and the Chiefs loved him,” David Kaplan explained. “Nagy has stayed close to him during this season. Nagy believes you can win big with Trubisky.”
I mentioned before, the next head coach will be all about Trubisky, especially since Ryan Pace believes Mitch is the next great QB in this league. With Nagy coming in, and there being a lot of comparables to Chiefs QB, Alex Smith, expect this to be a great pair.
