Chicago Cubs World Series Roster – and the Worst Kept Secret of the Last Few Days
Well, as we have been speculating here and here, the Chicago Cubs have activated Kyle Schwarber for the World Series, and expect him to start in Cleveland as the team’s designated hitter. While some have razzed on the Cubs for even entertaining this move, this probably the first time which I have resulted to the phrase, “trust Theo.”
While I will not win or lose the debate over if the Cubs should have activated him or not, I do want to point out – the team has gotten to this point with quite a bit of below average offense. If the picture above is any indication of where Schwarber will hit, I don’t think there should that much fuss until proven it was a poor judgement call.
Regardless, let’s give a round of applause to the entire Cubs World Series roster.
