David Ross Joining in on All Star Voting Push

The Midsummer Classic is just a little over a month away, and the Chicago Cubs are doubling down on their already impressive showing in the the All Star balloting. While the Cubs have had a couple of funny campaigns in the past, this year they have recruited the services of David “Grandpa” Ross to help with a final push to get Cubs in the 2016 MLB All Star Game on July 12th in San Diego.

While we covered the Chicago Cubs fan’s efforts to get David Ross in the All Star game, this does have the feel of the Cubs themselves trying to get Ross some extra write in votes. While the effort to get Ross in the game is a hotly contested topic among baseball fans, and surprisingly Cubs fans as well, we did put a good effort to show how and why Ross should be in the game.
