Don’t Forget About the Cubs’ Affiliates
I wanted to give everyone a quick reminder/heads-up about the minor league affiliates of the Cubs (during this four-game losing streak).
First, while you go vote for the major league Cubs for the All-Star game, voting is ending really, really soon for the Iowa Cubs in their push to get players to the AAA version.
ONE more day for fan voting! Help get your favorite #ICUBS to the Triple-A All-Star Game! https://t.co/TfjYSb40U3 pic.twitter.com/KhlpWyU7p1

The I-Cubs sit at 34-37. As you can see in the tweet above, you can vote in Willson Contreras and Albert Almora, Jr. despite them currently being on the big league club. So go do that.
Go check out the full standings here.
With Double-A just beginning play of the second half of the year, 2015 draftee Ian Happ has made the leap to Tennessee to join the Smokies.
There’s plenty to be excited about with the Cubs’ affiliates. Although we’ve already seen a ton of young talent get the call to Chicago this season, it’s still nice to see some success and growth in the minors.
To catch up on some players, take a look at some stat lines:
Happ,  Dan Vogelbach,  Gleyber Torres,  Dylan Cease,  Ryan Williams,  Carson Sands,  and Victor Caratini.
