HULK SMASH! Kyle Schwarber Destroyed Budweiser Sign
Kyle Schwarber hasn’t had the start he would have hoped for, entering Wednesday’s divisional matchup hitting .187/.315/.367. This was the year the Cubs would have a 40 homer guy in the leadoff spot. But with only six home runs in 165 plate appearances, things weren’t looking too promising.
There seemed to be a switch that was clicked on with Kyle during the St. Louis series. He was driving the ball with more authority, and just missed two moonshot home runs on Sunday. He then blasted a 462 foot home run off Bronson Arroyo on Tuesday, collecting two hits, and hit any absolute laser through the shift Wednesday to beat the shift.
462 foot home run? Come on Kyle Schwarber, this is unfair. 😳 pic.twitter.com/xjVRRwz5CB

With it appearing that Schwarber is beginning to click (fingers crossed), it was almost symbolic that War Bear hit the sign on the veil board that began his legend.
Looks like our @Budweiser sign is damaged.
What ever did that thing do to you, @kschwarb12? pic.twitter.com/aRAP53pkbZ

This might habe been a batting practice jack, but it’s certainly impressive. Plus it might prove, Schwarber is a Bud man.
