Joe Maddon Gives Middle Finger to the Brewers

The Chicago Cubs are out of the playoff picture, and with several guys ailing, manager Joe Maddon is going with, “the other lineup” for the series against the St Louis Cardinals.

“Of course they’re going to bitch, and I get it, but quite frankly, there are certain things I really don’t give a shit about, and that would be one of them.”

The Milwaukee Brewers need the Cubs to take care of business against the Cardinals, so they can sneak past them to win the National League Central. So, it would benefit Milwaukee if the Cubs has their A-Squad on the field in St Louis. (Apparently the Brewers didn’t see the four-game series in Chicago).

If the Brewers can’t pick up the one-game that separates the Cards and Milwaukee, they will certainly point to the Cubs lineups. But honestly, the Cubs have already officially shutdown Kris Bryant and Javier Baez. Anthony Rizzo should also sit. The team has nothing to prove, and there are several guys that normally ride pine Maddon wants to give innings to.

So, sorry but not sorry Milwaukee.
