Jonathan Toews Speaks Out About Patrick Kane Situation
As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, Jonathan Toews was a guest on TSN Radio 1290’s Hustler and Lawless’ show this afternoon in Winnipeg.
On the show the hosts, Hustler and Lawless, asked Toews about the news circulating around star winger, Patrick Kane.

As Toews mentions, this team is becoming use to dealing with off-ice situations which are mostly out of their control. It is still interesting to know how the team will handle this from not only an internal business perspective, but also from within the locker room.
The scenario from last year, as Toews mentioned that was circulated through social media, didn’t have the legal ramifications as the Kane situation does. While it is easy to say you just rally around and support your teammate(s), at any moment Kane could be suspended, traded, or banned from the NHL depending upon the outcome of the pending investigation.
Whatever happens, it is hard to bet against Toews, who just might be the best captain and leader in all of sports. With the leadership within the Blackhawks locker room, to their team executives and ownership, I’d suspect whatever happens with Kane the team will find a way to pull through.
