Miguel Montero is the Best Thing About Game 5
Through the first 4 1/3 innings of the NLCS Game 5, the best part of the game for Chicago Cubs fans has been Miguel Montero. Yeah, the very same Miguel Montero that was effectively fired by the Cubs for his comments towards Jake Arrieta and not holding runners on base.
I have said many times in the past, it’s a treat to follow Miggy on Twitter because he gives you great nuggets like this.
For the record I want the cubs to win so I get another ring 😜

Well he was back at it tonight, and he’s been rooting his former team on. I don’t believe it has anything to do with the ring factor either, it seems very genuine.
Ain’t over, still a lot of game left #letsgofellas you guys can do this

Here Miggy added Jon Lester’s hashtag #NVRQT.
#NVRQT anything can happen

Here’s Miguel’s boy wearing a Cubs jersey while practicing the piano.
He really love this song, Angel is a die hard cubs fan, I swear pic.twitter.com/3oND9x5DaN

Miggy always seemed to be a good dude. I feel he was a bit lost in his role as backup, and perhaps there were some mistakes made. Either way, good on Miggy for openly cheering the Cubs on.
