Playoff Watch Parties at the Park
Want to head out to Wrigley Field to watch Cubs playoff road games? Well the Cubs are making it possible. Per the Chicago Tribune, the Cubs are selling $10 watch party tickets for road playoff games. The event will take place at The Park at Wrigley, so know a very limited number of tickets are available.
Here are some details from the Tribune.
Tickets to the events are $10 and are limited to four per order. The team said proceeds will benefit Cubs Charities.
Games 1 and 2 of the series, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, will be shown on the video board. The Park will open one hour before the start of each broadcast and will close when the game ends.
Parking in the lot on Grace Street will be free, but will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
It would of course be the hope that they continue this throughout the playoffs. Some of this will be determined by the city, but it is a good thing for all involved.
