Rizzo’s stance on that Adam LaRoche thing
If you hadn’t heard, Adam LaRoche has decided to walk away from the remaining one-year, $13 million deal with the White Sox…
…and the reason is pretty weird. Apparently, Ken Williams told LaRoche he can longer bring his kid into the locker room.
Ken Williams told LaRoche he needed to tone down how much his son, Drake, came into the clubhouse to less than 50% of the time. Teammates have come out and said they didn’t mind Drake being there.
Well, Anthony Rizzo provided his opinion through Twitter dot com yesterday morning.
With what us baseball players do for a living can never be taken for granted. With that being said family comes before everything!

It’s baseball; it’s a kid’s game. Involving kids and a player’s family should be encouraged. I 100% agree with Riz on this one
