Thom Brennaman Crying – I’m Here for That
The Cincinnati Reds had a 3-1 lead going into the seventh. Luis Castillo dazzled Chicago Cubs hitters and out-pitched struggling veteran Jon Lester. It looked like the Reds were about to rebound from the Thursday whitewashing to take the series 3-1.
But in that seventh inning, and after Castillo left the game, Kris Bryant sent Reds fans home very unhappy.
As you could imagine, this sent former Cubs broadcaster, and current I cry anytime the Cubs do anything, Thom Brennaman into a frizzy.

This is becoming an annual thing with Thom. He ripped Cubs fans back in 2016 for celebrating in a visiting ballpark. He’s taken issue with Javier Baez and his “cockiness.” He was almost sympathetic towards Addison Russell for everything he had to “suffer” through.
Here's the video of Thom Brennaman and Jeff Brantley talking about Addison Russell, the suspension he had to "suffer" through and "a lot of other things" around him. pic.twitter.com/pjIe5v8INj

As a child, as Thom was the Cubs broadcaster, Steve Stone would tease him on his ears. As a boy who would turn WGN on as soon as I got home from school, I picked up on the robbing of his oversized ears. So, of course when I had the chance to meet Thom I – thinking this was a compliment – mentioned his ears weren’t *that* big. He didn’t necessarily like that.
Thom – 0
Jamie – 1

Thom Brennaman is nothing but a no-good, cry baby. I would cross the street to avoid him. If I didn’t, I would beat him to a freaking pulp!!
