Len Kasper Let Out Some Kyle Schwarber News

Ever since Chicago Cubs young superstar Kyle Schwarber was lost with a horrific knee injury during the season opening series, fans have discussed about a possible return. Well on WSCR AM-670 The Score, Cubs broadcaster Len Kasper let out some Kyle Schwarber news.

While addressing internet rumors that have once again resurfaced after Kyle himself spoke about a 2016 return, Kasper told The Score hosts Dan Bernstein and Matt Abbatacola that there is little absolutely, zero chance Schwarber plays again this season. This news of course broke the hearts of many fans throughout Chicagoland.

Kyle suffered a torn ACL, LCL, and a sprained ankle when he ranged into the gap colliding with centerfielder Dexter Fowler. Immediately all who witnessed knew Schwarber was going to be out for a long while. The injury also brought about the host of fans and foes exclaiming that this is how the Cubs curse would effect the preseason World Series favorite.

While the loss was, and is huge, the Cubs have managed to continue to dominate. Up until June the Cubs had played over .750 ball, and opened a huge run differential. While you can never replace the production one expected from Schwarber, the Cubs seemed to continue to chug along.

Can you imagine this Cubs team with Kyle Schwarber? Whew, I already have sweats of anticipation for that 2017 Cubs lineup.

    1. He literally just said it 35 minutes ago, which follows a week of speculation caused by Schwarber himself.
