NBA Insider Takes Vicious Shot at Bulls Star
There wasn’t a lot of positives to take away from possibly the most disappointing Chicago Bulls seasons in a very very long time. Afterall, this team was presented to the fans as a championship caliber team by Gar Forman and John Paxson, and now they will be sitting home watching the playoffs instead of being in them. While a lot can be said about the poor management, the firing and hiring of coaches, and lack of moves, this NBA insider takes a shot at the players.

That is Jimmy Butler, who like he mentions, signed a max deal to remain in Chicago. Justin Termine, who is a NBA radio analyst for Sirius Satellite Radio, went on to say.
@AschNBA I think shots at Rose… but maybe Butler… who the heck knows, but they'd probably play better w/ one us than w/ each other.

While he mentions in his timeline that it was mostly sarcasm, as far as Jimmy is concerned, he doesn’t back away from the comment either.
@vgoodwill I watch a ton of games. They can't play together is my opinion… I don't think using a little sarcasm is a hot take.

Nor he shouldn’t. There is dysfunction on the Bulls outside of just management, it reaches the roster. Additionally, Fred Hoiberg is the least of the team’s problems in regards to the dysfunction as well. He has had zero coaching experience at the NBA level, and while some might expect bigger results because of this roster and recent examples elsewhere, this is still a poorly run franchise, with egos that haven’t learned to play together or have been told to get over themselves.
Justin makes things a little clearer.

At least we know where he’s pointing the finger, Derrick Rose. While its almost out of style to do so, as the team’s point guard and self proclaimed leader (sure his resume also claims his leadership as well), he is also responsible for finding a way for all threats to “get theirs,” something that Rose hasn’t always come through on.
I do not want to additionally bash Rose, especially since I think he’s shown a great deal of resiliency over the second half of the season. But Justin has a solid point when he points to Rose as being the problem.
There will be a ton of debate all offseason on the root of the Bulls problems, and the chemistry between Rose and Butler is certainly part of it, but nothing changes until the front office is revamped.
This Rose bashing is uncalled for in my opinion. Rose has almost zero ego however Butler is all ego when Rose is there as pg, Jimmy goes into a funk. Game before last Rose was still out with the arm problem hence Butler took over at the pt even though a back pg was playing . Turn out he and Pau were sharing the ball the rest of the guys standing around. So if you think it is Rose you are wrong. guess who is? Watch the game for yourself and what do you see?
