Schwarber Could Play Left Field in Games Three, Four, and Five
UPDATE: KYLE SCHWARBER UPDATE
I mean, there’s no other way to say that… right? Snd if this happens… HOLY F&^%#%& S#%^!!!!!!
When speaking with media after the game here is what Kyle Schwarber had to say.
Schwarber on Gm 3-4-5, "We’ll see where it goes. Nothing set in stone. No one has told me anything. As of now, the story is still the same."

Yes, nothing has been ruled out – but is it smart? Like will he damage anything if he does? He would need to be medically cleared to play – but he will be flagging fly balls at a mandatory workout tomorrow.
#Cubs have a mandatory workout at Wrigley on Thurs. Maddon said Schwarber "might" take fly balls in OF. Stressed docs have not cleared him.

Joe also went on top mention that if you threw a glove on Kyle he would be extremely confident that he would be able to chase down fly balls, but he wasn’t sure how his knee would react.
Joe Maddon says doctors will determine Kyle Schwarber's availability to play LF in Wrigley. He didn't rule it out. "He's a different cat."

I want to be conservative with Kyle’s play, knowing just how much he can impact the future of this club, which has been reconfirm the last two nights. I want to say, suit him on the bench and limit him to pinch hitting duties.
BUT HE HAS BEEN THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FIELD IN GAME ONE AND TWO!!!
How do you sit a guy like that?
Let’s hope the doctors definitively confirm the route the Cubs must go, cause i feel if it is in Joe’s hands Kyle plays in left field.
I agree. If you can trust him to run bases and slide, you have to take this chance. Our lottery of Coghlan, Almora, Heyward and Soler is not hitting near what post season Schwarber has shown. Play him in LF early and replace him defensively late. He’s writing a story.
He certainly is writing a story, one Disney would turn down because it’s too the left of unbelievable. The kid is a difference-maker and if you have one chance at winning a title – do everything you can.
