This Video of Coach Q Ripping Off Ski Shots is EVERYTHING
So what do you do when you’ve been relieved of your duties, still get a handsome sum of money, and are tailgating at a Chicago Bears game? If you’re former Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville you take some ski shots with fans of course!

This is just great on every level and backs up a story I read on Twitter from Adam Jahns about coach Q.
I’m going to share a story about Joel Quenneville I’ve never shared before.
Back in 2010, the Hawks’ Cup party was a week-long event all over Chicago. I went to Stanley’s on Lincoln one night with some buddies … late in the night, the place goes wild …
I’m thinking, “Oh, great, which player is here. Where’s the Cup?” There was no Cup. It was Quenneville with a few friends. I decide to go over to his booth but I’m blocked by security. But Quenneville sees me and waves my through. We shake hands and I offer my congratulations…
I remember Quenneville pulling me in close and saying, “Adam, what a (bleeping) ride. That had to be a (bleeping) fun ride for you, too.”
After a few minutes more of small talk, we shake hands again and part ways. The place goes nuts again as he leaves … but wait he came back
Quenneville came back through the side door. If you know Stanley’s, they have karaoke. The place starts chanting for Quenneville to sing … and he happily obliges.
So Quenneville, that gruff, no-nonsense coach, gets up and sings “Sweet Caroline.” He didn’t need the monitor …
The entire bar sang along with Quenneville. He literally sang, waved and then left. No one took a pic or recorded it.
I recently asked him while interviewing him one-on-one for a story if remembered that night. He did. He said it was his first time to Stanley’s.

Can you imagine, having a drink at Stanley’s and Q grabs a mic to sing!? Amazing.
