Willson Contreras Shuts National Guys Up

Every flipping time the Chicago Cubs are on a national telecast, with Jon Lester on the mound, we hear about throwing to the bases. Yes, Jon Lester has a case of the yips. No I dont want him tgrowing to a base. No it hasn’t hurt him yet.

The best way for anyone to shut these national guys up, is to prove it doesn’t hurt you. That’s exactly what Willson Contreras did in the top of the second during the home opener at Wrigley Field.

With Willson being able to consistently gun would be base stealers, Lester’s issues will continue to be a non-issue in 2017.
