  1. It’s disgusting to hear that fans would cheer over another players injury! If ANYONE knew how hard it is to make it in the big leagues, all the hard work as a kid, a teenager, and a young player through your little league, your travel team, your trips to all your summer tournaments and showcases! The money spent to do all this as a young player and a players parents, if most people knew this or actually lived or are living the scenario as a young player or players parents you would never cheer another players injury! There’s nothing wrong with booing another team you don’t like, or trash talk, but to cheer another players injury…disgusting!
Now I’m a sox fan, and a Cubs fan, let’s just say I’m a CHICAGO FAN, for all our teams no matter what.
As a parent of one son who was in college baseball and another in high school and playing high level summer travel ball attending showcases that just about every pro ball player like Schwarber has attended I have spent exuberant amounts of money for my boys dreams weather they make it to pro ball or not, give all ball players credit for their sacrifices made. People should look in a mirror and ask themselves, what kind of person they really are happy at the fact players could potentially have a career ending injury, when that could be your own friend or family member.
As a Sox fan first, then a Cubs fan…I speak for alot of people get well soon Kyle!!!

  2. It is now and will always be a case of the have and have nots. Sox fans are just plain bitter that their team and they are always going to be the second thought rather than the first when it comes to anyone talking about or mentioning Chicago. The Sox won a World Series not too long ago yet the world STILL thinks of the Cubs when Chicago is talked about or thought of. It bugs them so much that they carry an inferiority complex around with them like a 100 LB anchor. Even the local media favors the Cubs and that bugs the Sox fans just as much.

By applauding an injured player, you reenforce the stereotype which the world already sees in Sox fans which is an uneducated, unworldly low class mullet wearing moron with a chip on his shoulder. Have your small battle victory by cheering for an injured player Sox fans, but you will NEVER win the war. You are now and always will be the less attractive sister, the less mentioned, less desired also ran no mater how many World Series your team wins.

  3. Joe,
Thanks for noticing my one typo and thanks for being the perfect example of a jealous & bitter Sox fan. Oh and Joe…. Though is how you spell it not “tho”. Good effort though. LOL

  4. Hmmm, still no Joe…weird! Maybe Joe is at “Ma’s house sleeping on the fronchroom sofa” and he can’t get her Internet to work. Hahaha. Joe? Joe? LOL
